Bismarck ended Fargo South's stranglehold on the North Dakota Class 11AAA title Saturday night with a 28-19 in the championship game in the Alerus Center. Bismarck's win prevented Fargo South from winning a third straight title. It was the first state championship for Bismarck. Click here for a game story.

Waterford City Crowned North Dakota Class 11AA Champ

Waterford City coach Fred Fridley and his Wolves added another piece of North Dakota high school football championship hardware to the school's trophy case Saturday. The Wolves (11-1) beat Valley City 40-20 for the Class 11AA championship in the Grand Forks Alerus Center. The championship waas the ninth for Waterford City and Fridley, who has coached the school since 1972, has been around for everyone. Click here for a game recap story.

"D" Carries Harvey to North Dakota Class A Title

Harvey closed out the 2008 season in high style Friday. The Hornets pitched their eighth straight shutout beating Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock 14-0 to capture their second straight North Dakota high school football championship. Harvey hasn't allowed a point since a September 19th loss against Velva. Friday's shutout was the tenth of the season for Harvey. Click here for a game story.

Hillsboro Runs to North Dakota 9-Man Championship

Friday in the Alerus Center, Hillsboro put at least 38-points on the scoreboard for the tenth straight game as the Burros rolled to North Dakota's 9-Man state championship with a 48-3 win over Williams County, which entered the game a perfect 12-0. For a game recap, click here.
